My Cinderella weekend...

With a millionaire, Thursday I got the tour of the town, and we dropped in on a few of his "projects". Had a wonderful lunch, and went to the Triple Door for dinner and a great show. WOW!

And this was Friday.

Salty's for lunch, with a beautiful view of Seattle and the Needle behind us. (with the phone in his ear.)

Then it was off to Pike Place Market, where we bought a Seahawks shirt so that I could fit in to the rest of the world on game day.
And then we went to one of my favorite places in Seattle, the fountain at the Space Needle. I LOVE to watch this fountain!

Then we went to a great restraunt near the stadium for dinner before the game,
then down the block to Qwest Stadium for the Seahawks vs Raiders game! Wooohoo!!!

This is Taima, the Seahawk. I figured they'd use an osprey or something, but she was something I'd never seen before. So of course, I had to find out what species she is. She's an Augur hawk from South Africa.

We were in the 3rd row, on the 45 yard line. Great seats!!!

The millionaire is supposed to be coming down to Portland this afternoon because I have tomorrow and Tuesday off! :o)
He seems to really like me... go figure...

I'm going to Seattle tonight,...

I'll fill you in on,... well, lets see,... I guess it will be Saturday!

I think I told you about Doug,...

...although at the time, I think I just called him "the mortgage broker from Seattle".

This is the one I mentioned very casually when I was in Boise for Mom's Birthday. (It's been arranged for a LONG time!) My friend, Bridget from work, set us up. Doug and her husband, Frank, have been buddies since high school, and although they emailed from time to time, they had not seen each other in several years.

We had SUCH a wonderful time. We went out for a wonderful dinner, and then went dancing. I stayed up until 2 AM!!! Doug is such fun. He's very funny and very sweet.

And it true hillbilly form, (you'd be proud sis!), I asked why we parked on the corner in what was obviously not a place to park.... Bridget whispered,... "Valet parking...."
Oh, yeah,... I knew that.
We got that sorta thing over there in idaho... some feller comes outta Jakes Tavern and moves yer John Deere outta the way so that George can git his truck up close to show off the 5 point buck he bagged that mornin'. ...I think its the same thing!

The designer calls it "Squeak",...

...but it's far from mousey.

Here are a few of the photos from the shoot Lisa did for the designer
that makes the clothes out of latex.
It's so strange to see her like this,... it's so not her.
But it definetly shows her ability to be deverse.
(She looks like something Andrea would draw!!!)

Wild, huh?

It's just soooo cool that she's getting to do this kind of stuff.
I'm so excited for her.

It just dawned on me,... If Obama is elected president, it will be the first time in my life that the President of the United States is YOUNGER than me. OMG, I'm getting OLD!!!

Intruder! Intruder! Intruder!

Ok, so I'm sitting at my computer last night, home alone 'cuz Lisa is out doing stuff. I here the door open and this comes walking down the hall...

My first thought is a space alien is coming after me, so I dive behind the sofa. But upon peeking over the top, I realize it's LISA, and she looks like she's just had the crap beat out of her.... THEN, I realize it's the weirdest makeup job I've ever seen - and I start laughing - really hard.
Her hair has been ratted and pinned up into a Mohawk, and she has green leaves on one eye, and major red on the other eye and cheek. Bazaaaarrr!

Apparently she had a photo shoot for a designer that makes clothes out of latex, (rubber), and so this is what the makeup artist did for the shoot!

The punker/goth look is sooooo NOT Lisa, it was just WEIRD to see it on her!

But I must admit, I cant WAIT to see the photos! Very funky, I'm sure. I've seen some amazing shots of her, these photographers are pretty creative, but this one... I cant wait!!! She said she had on huge platform boots, and was doing weird stuff like teetering on a tiny beam between two pools of water, crouching down in a pile of old scrap metal and wood, and hanging off a rope by one hand,... I can't wait to see this batch!!!

Taking a vote....

OK, I need opinions here!

Which one looks most like Kate?
