Damn! Now I'll have to find something else to reasearch, read up on, take an interest in, and hope for.

I'm sorry sis. I know you were looking forward to that experience. But as you know, I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. So mayby you just got saved from becoming a tasty snack for some hungry lion.
Something else will come up. In the meantime, why don't you research how to MAKE JANUARY GO AWAY FOREVER?
I'm working on it. And I've eliminated one possibility. I went to the mall, to that kiosk with all the calendars, and I ripped January out of every single one of them. Didn't help a bit! January is still here! Plus, I then had to chose between going to jail, or buying 482 February to December calendars. Anybody need a calendar?
Well, shoot. It could have been a great adventure. However, as Kate said, reasons: in todays paper there is an article about Dengue Fever and the map of its whereabouts, plainly shows Tanzania and other large areas of Africa. And all of the upper half of South America. So, don't go there either.
I guess there goes your budget at the Mall for the rest of the year.
There's still the boat and sailing next summer-----there IS something to look forward to !!!!!!!!
OK, I'm saying this in that REALLY irritating whiney, sneering voice "Eveything happens for a reason." Ah bullshit. Still, pisses you off doesn't it. Sorry that it turned out that way.
